Terms.

Last updated 28 August 2026.

1. What is being sold

A sponsorship is the right to have one logo displayed, as a die-cut vinyl sticker, inside one marked zone on the lid of a laptop owned and carried by Slavi Georgiev, for six consecutive months. The zone's position and size are listed on the lot page and do not change.

It is advertising space, not equity, not a partnership, and not any kind of endorsement in either direction. Nothing here creates an agency, employment or joint venture relationship.

2. How the auction works

  • Each spot is sold by open ascending auction in EUR.
  • Placing a bid authorises a card to be stored. It is not charged and no hold is placed.
  • A new bid must exceed the current one by €10 or 5%, whichever is greater.
  • Any bid placed inside the final 10 minutes extends the auction by 10 minutes from that moment.
  • When the auction closes, the highest bid on each spot is charged in full to the stored card. Bids are binding at that point.
  • Being outbid ends your involvement. Nothing is charged and no fee is due.

3. If a payment fails

A winner whose card is declined is emailed a link to pay by hand and has 48 hours to use it. After that the spot is offered to the next highest bidder, who must actively accept it before their card is charged. A bid that has been beaten is never charged without a fresh confirmation.

4. Artwork

You supply the artwork and confirm you own it or are licensed to use it. You grant permission to reproduce it on the sticker, on this site, and in photographs of the laptop, for the duration and afterwards as a record of what was displayed.

Artwork must cut cleanly in vinyl. If yours will not, you will be told before anything is printed and given a chance to send another file.

5. What can be refused

Bids are refused for gambling, adult content, predatory lending, deceptive financial or crypto offers, anything unlawful in Bulgaria or the European Union, and anything the operator judges to be misleading or harmful. Refused bids are refunded in full within five working days and the spot is re-offered.

6. Delivery and what happens if it goes wrong

  • The six months start on the day the sticker is applied, not the day the auction closes.
  • A sticker that peels, fades or is damaged is replaced at the operator's cost.
  • If the laptop is lost, stolen, replaced or repaired in a way that removes the sticker, the spot is reinstated on the replacement machine at the same size and position, and the remaining term continues.
  • If the operator stops carrying a laptop entirely, the unused portion of the term is refunded pro rata.

7. What is not promised

No number of impressions, clicks, leads or outcomes is guaranteed. Photographs published on the sightings page are a record of where the laptop went, not a measurement of anything. Buy a spot because you like the idea and the exposure, not because a spreadsheet says it will pay back.

Total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for your spot.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Bulgaria. Consumers keep every right their local law gives them regardless of anything written here.

9. Not Apple

Rent My Lid is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. MacBook, MacBook Pro and Mac are trademarks of Apple Inc. The manufacturer's own mark in the centre of the lid is not part of any lot and is not for sale.
